Goldstone is the result of an alloy of glass and copper oxides giving a glittery appearance. It is an artificial stone which has no virtue in itself, however it draws its interest from its sparkling appearance.

Created by mistake on the island of Murano, its sparkling beauty makes it particularly popular with jewelers.
